Winter Heat Shelter at Beulah Baptist

12/4/2016 – 12/11/2016

The Winter Heat Shelter. The heat shelter  is what we do for the less fortunate souls that need a warm place to sleep during the cold winter months. We are asking for Little Fork support to participate in this ministry to help others in our community.

Here is some information about the Heat Shelter from

Randy Ruffin......

The week of our responsibility for hosting the Culpeper Heat Shelter, together with Beulah Baptist church, is fast approaching (December 4 - 11).  Many thanks to those who have signed up to bring meals, including dinner, luncheon materials, and breakfast casseroles!  Beulah knows what we are doing so far and will be considering their roles this coming Saturday when they have an all church meeting.  They are thinking about live entertainment for one night and meals, chaperones, etc.  They will be providing a van and driver to help take our guests for showers at the Powell Wellness Center on Sundays and Wednesday nights and to transport them from and to the parking lot at St. Stephens.  We could use some more chaperones and I would think a few more breakfast casseroles would be a great help to the chaperones, who need to get a meal ready by 6:30 am!
