Feed My Sheep - What's in a Pantry Bag? | Little Fork Episcopal Church

Many of us have gotten used to having groceries in plastic bags or reusable bags, but the Feed My Sheep folks get strong paper bags from True Value Hardware in Bealeton and they need to be strong bags. Just look over this list of what goes into the pantry bag for delivery to families facing not only food insecurity but transportation issues, as well. The bag delivered every 3 weeks includes:

Box of Cereal
Canned Fruit
Instant Oatmeal
Spaghetti
Chips/Tortilla Chips
Protein bar/Protein shake
Chunky Soup
Tuna
Canned Beans
Spaghetti Sauce
Hot chocolate in winter
Cupcake/Dessert Bar
Canned Vegetable
Peanut Butter
Rice/Rice Bean mix
Water/Soda/Juice
Snack fruit/pudding

Little Fork is a unique and sacred place of worship. If you find God in places of retreat, come worship off the beaten path surrounded by cherry trees. Come to this place to be known by God and known by others. Little Fork is a small intergenerational congregation and the worship reflects that. Children and adults worship together. Work boots and fancy shoes stand side by side to pray and celebrate life’s big moments.
