Prayers of the People July 31, 2022

These are the Prayers of the People that will be used during church this week. We encourage you to use them as part of your personal prayers this week.

Our gracious God, we thank you that you have provided generously for all our needs. Help us overcome the temptations of greed and selfishness. May we be content with your provision.
You are our God, and we thank you.

Through Feed My Sheep, our Little Fork families are truly being the hands and feet of Christ to needy people in our surrounding communities. We thank you for this opportunity and ask that you help us continue to be generous in providing for the disadvantaged.
You are our God, and we thank you.

We give you thanks for the shepherds who care for your people: our Diocesan Bishops, Susan and Jennifer, our Bishop Elect, Mark, our Rector, Stacy, our occasional celebrants, Jenks and Amanda, and all bishops, priests and deacons. May they guide and feed their flocks with love, grace and wisdom.
You are our God, and we thank you.

You are our Prince of Peace. We pray for countries broken by war, especially Ukraine and Afghanistan, for peoples facing ethnic violence and hatred, and for all victims of discrimination and persecution.
You are our God, and we thank you.

We thank you for the potential of our Master Plan to be a source of inspiration and refreshment to our church members and our surrounding communities. Guide us in the implementation of this plan and provide the funding for its development.
You are our God, and we thank you.
