2023 Summer Concerts Were A Big Hit!

As summer comes to a close, I’d like to reflect on the success of our Summer Concert Series at Little Fork. This year was definitely a trial run, but the results speak for themselves. Our first concert was July 25th with Bryan Jacobs and Remington Steel. The acoustic blues group performed their versions of many blues staples, as well as some originals, to a crowd of 63 people.

Then, on August 26th, the Silver Tones Swing Band danced their way to Little Fork. A crowd of 104 people enjoyed their Big Band music, complete with Andrews Sisters-esque and Sinatra-esque vocals, some by dancing all over the lawn! The best part in my opinion was the amount of community members that we invited to Little Fork. At each concert, there were roughly 20 parishioners – showing that going forward these events are a great way to fellowship with our neighbors and grow our own Little Fork community. I can’t wait to hear even more great musical acts next summer, and I hope you’ll join me!
