Feed My Sheep At Little Fork

With the blessing of the Little Fork Vestry, an outreach project for the entire church and community will be launched on Easter Sunday. Feed My Sheep is a program, based at Bealeton Baptist Church, which provides food for deserving families in Culpeper and Fauquier counties who do not have transportation to one of the local food closets.

The first step in the Little Fork outreach will be the chance to adopt a food beginning on April 17. Sign ups will be held after church for several Sundays and online for families to choose a needed food item to purchase in packs of 12 (remember the early disciples were 12 in number). Adopted foods will be brought to the church where volunteers will get them to Bealeton for packing.

Currently 24 families in each county are being served and the hope is that eventually Little Fork will be able to identify families in Rixeyville, Jeffersonton, and Amissville, who could benefit from this ministry. Frequent updates will be available through the weekly e-news.
