Little Fork Church Notes From History - September 28, 2023

Notes from History No. 7, Little Fork has a twin
Contributions of Bob Lee and Don Stockton
On Saturday August 26th Bob and I drove down to Sealston Virginia in King George’s County to visit Lamb’s Creek Church where they were sprucing up the building for their annual service. We had been in contact with Father Richard Fichter and wanted to be able to take 360 degree photographs to publish a virtual tour on Google Maps. Lamb’s Creek was built between 1769 and 1770 and with the exception that Little Fork is approximately 12 feet longer is a virtual twin. It also has been claimed that its architect was John Ariss but that’s another story.
I need to go back and take a few more photos outside the church because there were too many vehicles on the first take but you can click HERE to see what has been published so far.
Bob and Sue went back for the service on Sunday and brought back the following flyer. Click HERE to read the entire flyer
