Jesus, you are the Light of the World. We praise you for giving sight to the blind, both physically and spiritually. Help us recognize our spiritual blindness and look to you for your light.

For the peace of the world, especially in warzones, famines, and areas of devastation, including the Ukraine, Afghanistan, Turkey and Syria. May their people experience your presence and saving help as they pass through the valley of the shadow of death.

For all those who minister in your name, give them wisdom and direction as they care for their flocks, especially Michael, our Presiding Bishop, Mark, our Diocesan Bishop, Gayle our Assisting Bishop, Ted and Dabney, our Visiting Bishops, Stacy our Rector, and Jenks and Amanda, our supply priests.
Let us pray to the Lord. Lord, have mercy.

We pray for our communities—Culpeper, Warrenton and Amissville—and for those who live in them, that they would experience security, welfare and peace.
