Prayers of the People November 26, 2023
These are the Prayers of the People that will be used during church this week.
Please respond to the prayers with “and graciously hear us.”
Christ the King, we exalt you this morning, praising you for your glorious resurrection exalted name. May we give you the honor and worship you deserve. This morning, we serve you with gladness and enter your gates with thanksgiving.
Lord, have mercy and graciously hear us.
Son of Man, help us to see you in those whom society considers the lowest. Guide us as we invest our resources of time, talent and money in meeting their needs. May those who receive food through Feed My Sheep glorify you for your provision.
Lord, have mercy and graciously hear us.
As the Apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians, we ask you to give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that our hearts may be enlightened to know the hope of your glorious inheritance and immeasurable power.
Lord, have mercy and graciously hear us.
We pray for all who have dedicated their lives to you. We pray especially for our visiting priests, Jenks and Amanda, that they may be faithful ministers of your Word and Sacraments. Guide our men’s group, St. Brigid’s Brigade, and our Ladies Zoom Bible Study, as they seek to understand and apply your Word to their lives.
Lord, have mercy and graciously hear us.
We thank you for hymn-writers and musicians, especially Ben, our church musician. May they help us to sing your praises.
Lord, have mercy and graciously hear us.
We pray for all who are in sickness or in trouble, for all who mourn and all who are sad. We pray for comfort and healing for those for whom prayer has been requested (Please read the first names of those on our church prayer list). Please add the names of others in need of comfort or healing.
You are invited to share the names of those in need.
May they be comforted and healed, and may those who care for them be strengthened and encouraged.
Lord, have mercy and graciously hear us.
We entrust to you all who have died in the faith, especially (Please read the first names of those on our church prayer list). Please add the names of others who have passed away recently.
You are invited to add the names of others who have died recently.
Lord, have mercy and graciously hear us.
At this time, please voice any personal thanksgivings or petitions.

We rejoice with all who praise you, King Jesus, in the glory of your kingdom. We sing your praises with angels and archangels and all the company of heaven.
