Little Fork Church Notes From History – November 30, 2023
Notes from History No. 13, Re-Visit Virtual Walk-Thru
In May of last year we published on Google Maps, 360 degree photographs of Little Fork, both inside and out, hoping to satisfy people who had commented in the past that they were not able to see inside after stopping by. In just over 18 months the number of views of those pictures has reached over 50,000. In case you didn’t see the first article announcing the Virtual Walk click here.

Little Fork Episcopal Church – Google Maps
In an attempt to research and discover who the Architect and Builder of our humble Church we have been comparing the structure of other Colonial Churches in Virginia built around the same time as Little Fork. Earlier this year we published “9/28/2023 Notes from History #7, Little Fork has a twin” We visited Lamb’s Creek in King George County and took 360 degree photos of their church as well and published them so others may be able to see inside. Take the tour by clicking the below photo or caption below it.
Lambs Creek Church – Google Maps
Last week on our way to Jamestown and Williamsburg we stopped in Hopewell Virginia to take pictures of Merchant’s Hope Church which is also similar to Little Fork and Lamb’s Creek. We will publish those soon. So far we have been able to identify about 10 churches in Virginia with varying differences but closely resemble Little Fork. Click here to see the list we are working from. More to come soon.
